Responsibilities of the Full-Time Accountant in Pune
The Accountant will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Recording day-to-day financial transactions in Tally/ERP.
- Maintaining books of accounts: Purchase, Sales, Cash Book, Bank Book, Journal.
- Handling accounts payable (vendors) and accounts receivable (customers).
- Preparing and tracking invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Preparing Tax Returns and managing TDS.
- Reconciling bank statements and ensuring accuracy of financial data.
- Assisting with audits and providing necessary documentation.
Requirements for Accountant Jobs in Pune
- Proven experience (4-5 years) as an Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel.
- Experience with GST compliance.
- Ability to prepare Balance Sheets and manage Cash Flow.
- Familiarity with Book Keeping procedures.
- Understanding of Tax Returns and TDS regulations.
- Post Graduate degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
