Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience for millions of students and professionals worldwide. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on a platform that is changing lives.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop user-facing features using React.js (or similar framework)
• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js (or similar technology)
• Collaborate with designers and other engineers to deliver high-quality code
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development process
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform’s performance and scalability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in full-stack web development
• Proficiency in React.js (or similar framework) and Node.js (or similar technology)
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Bonus Points

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress)
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
