Senior Tax Consultant – Agh & Associates
Agh & Associates, a reputable firm based in Dapodi, Pune, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Consultant to join our growing team. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.).
- Perform reconciliation of GSTR-2A/2B with purchase register.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all GST-related transactions and invoices.
- Assist with input tax credit (ITC) matching and correction of mismatches.
- Handle GST registration, amendment, and cancellation procedures as required.
- Respond to GST notices and inquiries from the tax department.
- Ensure timely payment of GST and proper recordkeeping for audits.
- Coordinate with internal departments for data collation and external consultants or auditors as necessary.
- Stay updated on GST rules, amendments, and circulars issued by CBIC.
- Support in monthly closing activities and internal/external audits.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or CA Inter preferred).
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience in handling GST-related work.
- Solid understanding of the Indian taxation system, especially Goods and Services Tax (GST).
- Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and the GSTN portal.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in filing GST returns for multi-state operations.
- Prior work in manufacturing, trading, or service industries with high-volume transactions.
