Responsibilities of an Import Export Executive
The Import Export Executive will be responsible for managing all aspects of the import and export process, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of international trade practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee & manage all aspects of the import & export process.
- Prepare Documentation as per Customs Regulations and ensure all compliance.
- Coordinate with CHA, Freight Forwarders & Shipping Agents regarding shipments.
- Proactively identify and resolve any logistical challenges.
- Handle documents and submissions to Banks, DGFT, etc.
- Deal with Banks for document related issues, payments & Exchange Control requirements.
- Create monthly and annual Reports.
Requirements for Import Export Executive Positions in Pune
To be considered for this Full-Time Import Export Executive role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Graduate degree or above
- 4 – 6+ years of experience in Warehouse / Logistics
- Strong understanding of Customs Regulations and Documentation procedures
- Experience in coordinating with Freight Forwarders and Shipping agents
- Proficiency in preparing and submitting documents to DGFT and banks
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
