About the Role
As a Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and exceeding sales targets. This is a field-based role requiring strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and a deep understanding of sales techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, presentations, and door-to-door visits.
- Conduct product demonstrations and effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets.
- Accurately track and report performance metrics and provide valuable feedback to management.
- Manage and expand the client database using CRM systems or other relevant technologies.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree or equivalent.
- 2-6+ years of experience in field sales, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant sales technologies.
- Strong area knowledge of Pune is preferred.
